There is a carshow on August 26th at the Cariboo Road church that I am thinking of going to. The fellow that is organizing it talked to us and gave me a brochure at the A&W Coquitlam Show & Shine and I also talked to him at the A&W Maple Ridge one.
Anyway -- he had said that they'd like to see some of our type of cars out there because the "younger crowd" likes to see cars that they can relate to and recognize and they enjoy them more than the really old collector cars.
I talked to him last night and he said there is no pre-registration required and no admission fee, just show up and bring something for the food bank. They are going to be doing the awards around 1 o'clock or so, so it won't tie up your whole day either. Maybe we can even convince them to have a Supercoupe awards class!!
Anybody else interested? I'd like to have at least a few other members show up with me! Here's a copy of the flyer :
