Well I have some big news and a request ....
The big news is after 13 yrs of starting from literally nothing except 2 small kids, I've finally reached the point where I am able to buy my own place instead of renting. Everything is pretty much final and I'll be getting the keys to my new 2 BR apartment on October 16th. I am really excited about it since this is pretty major for me!
Anyway -- now the request -- I'm tentatively planning moving day for the 23rd and 24th of October -- the 24th being a Saturday. Since I can't afford to just hire movers I'm hoping to rent a U-Haul or something and impose on the goodwill of friends and family .... you guys being the friends!
I know its a bit ahead of time but any help would be appreciated so if anybody wants to volunteer to help out that would be awesome! You'll be rewarded with my undying gratitude, lunch and beer will be provided!
Let me know if you think you'd be able to help out even for an hour or so
