Well looking hard for the best rates and areas I have now made a decission that we will be staying at :
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites 1090 - 22ND ST NE SALMON ARM, BC V1E 2V5 CANADA I am going to leave it up to all that is comming to call in or book online for there own reservations.... link below to webpage Due to the fact that Sheryl and I both have to work on Friday July 24th we will be leaving July 25th early morning If all want to leave friday that is up to you and spend the extra day But if some or all want to meet up in the morning and take the drive together then we can make a central meet point and go from there Avg price for rooms before taxes is $168.00 per night and that will get you a room with 2 queen size beds, that is cheaper then a room with 1 king..... don't know why but price is better for 2 beds then 1 PLEASE MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS QUICKLY AS IT IS HIGH SEASON THERE AND I CAN NOT GUARANTEE AVIALIBLITY..... As of right now there is Click here for reservations Once you have made a reservation please post here so I know how many people are comming, Thank you We do have some stuff that is still in the planning, we have a a friend there that belongs to a car club that would love to meet with us and take us out for a cruise and show us their pride and joys There is many other things to do there, some wine tasting, golf, the lake..... This should be a meet that is been long in the making Hope to see as many people as possible

so we have just over a week to go until this meet - and I have to ask....
has ANYONE confirmed a hotel room yet? because if you haven't I'm thinking that it is going to be too late. So far I haven't seen a whole lot of interest and I would hate for only one or two people to go up just to find out that no one else bothered to go. All I know is that Joey is going up no matter if anyone else is or not - ???? if we don't get any response by Monday we may have to make some changes to this event...................... Unfortunately its just not in the budget for me to go to this -- I hope there is a good turnout though and you guys have a good time. Will be thinking of you enviously!!

these unforseen gremlins have foiled our plans and we will not be attending this event.

This meet seems to be a no go.... and for myself I did say I would go regarless, but I have decided that Sheryl and I are not going to make the trip up due to
the fact that we are going somewhere else a few weeks later......
Sorry to say that this meet is cancelled for those who were going to come or had the thought in mind to come .....

Extremely disappointed, thats for sure. These BC/AB meets have been some of the best we have had, and here we had an opportunity for another memorable event and there was virtually ZERO interest. Im hoping things turn around here soon. All things in life have an ebb and flow, and this club is no different, I just hope that maybe next year we can bring back some enthusiasm and participation to the SCCoWC That being said - with temperatures nearing 40 degrees in Salmon Arm this weekend, maybe it is a good place to avoid .
