Here you can keep track of all the events scheduled to take place for the SCCoWC this year. Please mark your calendars and try and make as many events as
possible! Also watch for impromptu meets that pop up from time to time (coffee meets, helping fix someones' car meets, A&W cruise in meets etc.)

2008 SCCoWC EVENTS!
5 - Sunday, June 1st 2008 Abbotsford, B.C. "MSA Ford Show n' Shine"
An annual show n' shine event at the local Ford dealership in the Abbotsford Auto Mall. Tons of great prizes, a poker run and some "after show refreshments" makes this a popular event.
6 - Sunday, June 8th 2008 North Vancouver B.C. "Sea to Sky Cruise"
This event has been left out of the schedule for several years, so its time for a triumphant return! The Club will head out on a cruise from North Vancouver up to Cypress Mountain for some spectacular views of the city, then continue on to the picturesque town of Horseshoe Bay were we will grab a bite to eat. Heading back to town via the old Marine Drive, we may even stop in at the "Thunderbird Marina"
7 - Sunday, July 13th 2008 Coquitlam & Queensborough B.C. "Tag, You're It!!!"
This is a new event for the club, and should prove to be very popular! A cruise will take us to a local Laser Tag course where you will finally get a chance to take some shots at someone who deserves it!
8 - Sunday, July 27th 2008 Coquitlam B.C. "Galaxy Cub Show n' Shine at the 'Dub"
The SCCoWC has been invited to take part at the Galaxy Club show n Shine at A&W in Coquitlam once again. Alex from the Galaxy Club has been kind enough to create a trophy class specifically for our club!
9 - Sunday, August 3rd 2008 Delta B.C. "Totem T-Bird Cruise In"
The Totem T-Bird Club is putting on its popular show n' shine at the Deas Island Regional Park in Delta. We think it's important to support this show and the club that pays homage to our cars' ancestors - the classic Thunderbirds from the 50's, 60's and 70's!
10 - Sunday, August 10th 2008 Surrey B.C. "The Fordnutz Cougar Claw-In"
This was the biggest event of '07 for the SCCoWC - so much so that we took home the "Club Participation Award" for most members in attendance. We want to continue this with an even BIGGER contingent of members for 2008! This is going to be a brand new event, in a new location (that will feature real grass under our cars, not unbearably hot blacktop!) and we want to break the 20 car barrier this year!!!! LET SEE IF WE CAN DO IT!!!!!
11 - Sunday, September 21st 2008 Port Moody, B.C. "Buntzen Lake Cruise and Picnic"
The picturesque setting of Buntzen Lake will be the backdrop of this bbq/picnic. We did this a few years ago on a smaller scale and it turned out very well, now its time to draw some more members out to this event!
12 - FRIDAY OCTOBER 10TH - THE SCCoWC 10TH ANNIVERSARY BASH!!!!!!! This is the exact day 10 years prior that was the very first SC community event in the Pacific
Northwest! That day 3 whole cars met at a burger stand in Snohomish, Washington and the SuperCoupe Club of the Northwest (and soon after the SCCoWC) was born!
Be expecting a PARTY this day!
13 - Sunday, October 19th 2008 Richmond, B.C "Cruise n Kart" (or Cruise n Bowl - as was the case in 2007)
The end of the event season bring with the this event that has been a staple of the SCCoWC schedule for years - the Cruise n' Kart. A short cruise through Richmond brings us to TBC Indoor Go-Karts where we let loose on the track. The Old Spaghetti Factory will provide the dinner once all the carnage has been unleashed!
(please note that due to extreme expense we are not able to book the track exclusively, so the possibility is there that we may not be able to race. If this issue arises we will go with plan B - head over to Louis Lanes for some bowling action!)
14 - Novemer 2008 location and date TBA "2008 year end wrap up"
As this is way to far in the future to plan for, youll have to wait and see how we close out the year!!!!
