So, for the past 6 months or so, my blower motor will just stop working, then after a few minutes or so, it will come back on. The blower motor is new, so I am
ruling that part out. When it stops working, sometimes if I wiggle/jiggle/press the "fan speed" switch, the blower comes back on, but not always, so
I think that when I wiggle/jiggle/press it, it is just fluke that the blower comes back on. Last night when driving home from work, it shut off and came back
on about 4 times within 5 minutes. It seems to only do this after there is heat in the vehicle.
The other thing is that on the "fan speed" switch, fan speed #3 has never worked.
I am thinking that the problem is in the HVAC controller, but am only guessing. I did a little research, but haven't found anything.
Is there any known problem with these cars that does this? Any thoughts as to what might be the problem?
