Well on friday night I receievd a call that my engine was enroute so I travelled down to Strathmore, ab to meet up with Dave and his family. He arrived at 445
am so we waited till the morning to get everything transfered over to my truck. so last night after dropping of some parts I returned home and unloaded
everything. I started swaping sensors from thje old to new engine. This morning I ran arround to pick up some parts to mount the new rad and picked up some
items I forgot. at about 130 we pushed the car outside and assembled the engine and transmission. We then dropped it in and put in the new headers. I still
have to mount the assesory brakcets and put the rest of the bolt on stuff back on but everything should be back to gether tomorrow after work. I will be
dropping it off for exhuast in the morning so the car will finally be back to life tomorrow so I can get some miles on so it can be tuned on the dyno friday.

Likely will be tonight without any snags on the meth injection. I might need Dave's help on that one. I still have to install bothe brackets and assemble
the sc as I sold the internals but i would esimate 5hours more and it will be ready to test fire.\

The engine is in and it runs it has belt slip now and the rotor's I used are not very good so I will have to shim the blower up, install a new sc tensioner
pulley and put in a new set of rotors in the MPX. The car still moves very well but it seems the rear end gears are making noise so I may swap in the stock
gears to eliminate them from being a problem. I have pictures of the new exhaust but I still need to find a way to host them and put them up.

Here are the pictures of the exhaust. I 'll clean the car and get some pictures of the rest up. The headers are pretty nice but the car is loud Vern I
think it might be as loud and your straight pipes.

John did you get that done at the same shop i did? Looks like it in the pics, even the same bay! I have the same mufflers, i don't find mine to loud at
all. Mine has a nice low raspy sound at idle and is a bit loud when you walk on it but not to bad. I think you have just been driving that Audi for to long!
Nice to see it is back on the road.....

Magnaflows, like other mufflers, Change sound..
We have cars that leave `loud' and in like a year or so, come back and seem Tame

I, ve been through several sets of new mufflers before and the car was fairly loud before the headers now thte duals and the headers it is loud, so loud my
friends could hear me 5 km away when I walked on it and when I turned into thier sub division about 2kms and walked on it again. It has tamed down some and I
expect it to do so some more but it will always be loud. I used park muffler to do my exhaust they have done all my cars and doo good work.
