The DRL did work though. It was the only wa I got home the one night I had the car out. regular lights were blinking so bad you'd think i was Starsky

then that don't make sense..
since then you should have full highs then.. if done how i think you did it also Headlight switch would be cuasing the flicking lights.. and there is an `upgraded' one thou VIA Ford, but you have to KNOW which one it is, Else they give you the other one.. BUT with that being said.. Since you've moved over to Relays... any replacement should work fine... Also do check out the Multi Function switch and headlight pig tail for melted wires too...

The MFS is getting switched out as it is bagged I will check the headlight switch but that should be okay as it does bring on the running lights and allows for
power to the MFS.
I know it doesn't make sense so it will be interesting to find out why.

The Multi Function switch can be cuasing more load on the Headlight switch that it's built in Circuit breaker keeps triping.. But typically (95% of the
time) flickering Headlights is to do with the headlight switch itself (the Circuit breaker part inside it)
But i have had to replace the `plug' for the Headlight switch (plastic part) and a couple of leads (i didn't do it all since it was only the Headlight leads themselves that had issue, so why waste time resoldering every last lead?) and also had a MFS go into melt down (luckly the wiring itself wasn't bad)

Well I solved the missing DRL's. There was a little power wire that didn't get connected when I re-wired the battery cable. Connected the DRL blank-off
plug and will pull the switches on Saturday to find out what is going on.

Well, discovered one of the issues with the wiring.
So I removed this connector and took the one out of the Cougar and wired it up. So now I don't have running lights So its off to the wiring diagram and figure out which wires I crossed up.

I have a pinout pic though the only manual I have is for a 93-94. It should be the same I think. Heres a pic.
The wires were ok and the MFS is much better now that I changed it out as it was very loosey goosey.
