I just broke my shifter cable right at the shifter and i was wondering if one will work from an aod car or do i need a specific one for a 94/95 with a 4r70w?

I know i have a Spare AOD shifter/cable out of a car (from my '91 XR7).. but don't have the 4R version to compare it too (sorry No urge to tear apart my '96

Well i checked out a couple of aod cars today at pick a part and they are not the same as the 4r70w cable, they attach differently to the shifter. So John i
would like to get one from you asap. Thanks, Mark.
