Well I finally hit the dyno with the new motor. For all who know Toma he did a great job tuning the car. The MPIII only managed to produce 15psi so power is
way down from where I thought it would be. The car made 302rwhp with no juice or alky. The top intercooler hose kept blowing off no matter how hard we
tightened it! Time to make a couple brackets. On the last run of the night just before we were going to make an alky run I blew a frost plug right out!! What
a mess. Toma got under it and fought for a half an hour and got it back in. I made it home and have beaten on the car a couple of times and so far so good.
Seems to go real good and I know there is a lot more in the motor! Maybe time to upgrade the blower again!

Very Cool Marty.
My Car is currently in pieces, I need to redesign the top to exit out the opposite side, and plum in Neiberts old Propane injections system. Change both real wheel bearings, add some fans to the FMIC and add rear fire wall and a DS loop. I have no idea when it will be back on the road . . . you will have to take me for a ride in yours. Dave I am in the same boat. I have headers and a true dual exhaust in the worksI have to pull the engine and replace the engine bay harness due to last years fuse box melt down. My engine will be here by July 12 so it will be installed a couple days after that then have the exhaust installed and have Dave tune it. We might need to have another dyno day/ meet in august if anybody is up to it and everybody's cars are ready and head to the track for some runs I miss my car, the Audi is fun but it's not up to the sc level. John |

Yeah, I saw. I will get there . . . maybe this fall. Maybe I will take the car the Cat to BC this fall and ring it out at Mission . . . if I find the time
between trips to San Antonio, Australia, New Brunswick twice and Saskatchewan this summer . . . . damn work.

Wow Dave looks like a ton of travelling. are you still planning to go to the shoot out? I have to go to phoenix to help a friend pick up a car in late july.
not exotic travelling for me for now mostly day trips and a a few trips to vancouver.

At this point a trip to the shoot out would be difficult to pull off /. . . I would say it is very unlikely.
