Ahhh, the Rambler! I thought parts were hard to find for this car! When i had my 69 Javelin in high school, parts were hard to find then and i am 45 now! This
project i am doing is by know means a restoration, but the engine compartment will be nice and i am hoping that the car will make a nice driver....

I've been working on.

Hey Tony, Yes we did talk about the Javelin before, checked out your thread. The AMX really looks cool and it was a great car to restore. You are doing it
right and it is better to miss the show doing it that way instead of rushing the job. I will have to check it out once its done.

Okay there is a little progress. Removed the SC engine harness and pcm. Installed the 5.0 harness but have alot to hook up. Headers are installed, accessory
brackets and so on. I replaced the entire underhood ac system with new components (Ford), i still have to powder coat the steel pulleys and i am awaiting the
rad to come back from getting recored. It is starting to take shape......

Update | ||
|
Well i haven't posted for a while so i thought i would do an update. Okay all the wiring is done, except i have to fab up a fuel pump, pcm and a/c wot
relays. The set up is different in the 94 up cars and i need to do this to make her run. I have an evtm for the year of harness but still awaiting one for the
year of car. It is kinda complicated and i can't even fully read a wiring schematic so it only looks more confusing. I am starting on that as soon as i get
my fresh rebuilt 3.73 traction lock pumpkin installed. Got the upper intake installed yesterday and notched the hood bracing for clearance, it came out very
nice. Its getting close to being fired up but i have to figure out these pesky relays first. If anyone can shed some light on this it would be most
appreciated, thanks. Here is a pic.

What underhood / engine harnesses are you running/using??

I am using a 93 5.0 mn 12 engine harness but using the original 94 style fuse block.

the ECU relay is part of the 89-93 fuse box on none SCed car and the WOT cutout relay is behind the passenger strut tower.. and both of these Items are part
of the CCM on the SCed cars (or any car with an Electric fan for that matter)
And maybe on the '94+ cars the fuel pump relay is in the CCM too?? (in my '96 it supposedly is?) Now wiring in the CCM to work with the 93 5.0L Harness may be interesting, but do able.. Hopefully you get the schematic soon too.. I just remember the Fuel pump turn on being like Tan w/ green? which is light blue w/ orange? on my '96... ![]() ![]()

Yes it is, the ccrm does the fuel pump, pcm wot a/c relays. I removed it and intstalled the 5.0 ignition box in its place. From what i am told you have to run
the pcm relay near that box off the 156 plug and have that wired to the fuel pump relay set up near the pcm using the #22 and # 8 pinout from the connector. I
am close to figuring this out but really nead the evtm for the 94 car. Thanks, Mark.
