I have to get off my butt and repair a leaking timing cover gasket. Four years of leaking coolant is finally getting to me.
Does anybody know of you can get the t/cover off without removing the p/s pump? I see that the p/s pump is attached to the block with two studs, that might also attach the timing cover or water pump. Book time on the water pump is 2.0 hours, and the timing cover takes it up to 5.9 hours, and the p/s is +.2 hours.
I'd rather not have to remove the IC tube(s) if possible, and I remember back when I did the head gaskets, I had a biatch of a time getting the p/s pump off.
