Preston, sorry for not responding sooner, but i have been working alot of crazy hours and haven't been to this site in a while.... I had been looking for along time for the 5.0 swap items.... i do have some leads for you to follow up on if you like, but it is very difficult to find a drivetrain used but still in good condition as i am sure you are aware.... John told me that you are a good dude, so i am willing to help you find what you need, but don't be in a rush as the options are limited. I know of a complete 91 cougar 5.0 but it is in sask.
and have not checked it out. I have no idea what air-care is like in BC, but if you are going to need to pass emission tests, better make sure what they say about engine swaps.
You might find it easier to find an 87/93 5.0 from a mustang and then locate all the engine brackets, required for an mn-12, or 94/95 sn-95 5.0 mustang..... that is not easy though either, but i am looking for this stuff all the time, so if i see something i don't need i will pass it on to you..
but if you can find a way to get that drivetrain i mentioned in the post above, shipped, it would make for an easy swap.

when i get a chance i will, the cougar is the same and keep looking for a donor car, just remember that all 93 and up 5.0 use hyper pistons while the 86,92 use forged, if you find a 86 5.0 ho don't bother as the pistons are specific for that year with a slight raise in c/r (pistons are not notched) and the heads are not the same as the 87/95 e7te truck heads, that the ho's come with, most after market heads will require you have the pistons notched for valve clearance.... (what is your budget for this?) i do see them on e-bay from time to time if you have a way to bring one up from the states..
