My car makes a ticking kind of noise for a minute or so after I shut it off. Any suggestions?

You had new cats put on right???
Did it make said noise before the New cats where put on?? I know my majority of my cars, oddly mostly the '96, does make a `clicking' like noise as the cats cool down, and the metal starts to shrink back abit..

No problem.. Heck my '89 makes a weird noise untill the Vacuum inside the intake goes bye bye
