        <![CDATA[ I finally got off my arse and did the &quot;trunk strut&quot; modification. Clicky clicky for the whole right up. I was hoping to get away with just one strut, but to get the lid to open, I needed two. It was a very easy project, and the hardest part was getting the struts clipped on; those little things are freaking strong!And the final test:Faucher has a &quot;$25 minimum&quot; order, so I bought two extra ball mount brackets.
