Sucks, doesn't it. I don't know why, but there is no market for these cars. Just a small select few that love them. When I bought mine 4 years ago, I paid $1900, put a few grand worth of work into it, and figured I had a good reliable $5000 car, which I did. Well, the next year, cars like mine were going for $4000, then $3000, and now I see them for $2000. Better to pull the motor and put it in a go-kart or something else cool, or just part it out.
