Within the next few months, because my car has been sitting in the garage for all year long I have had a chance to examine some of the engine bay of my vehicle
and I am wondering is it possible to install the 3 valve 4.6L V8 into the car or is this something I can only dream of about installing this more modular motor
into my T-Bird?

OR

Could I just install the 3 valve "head" from the 4.6L V8 mustang motor and put it onto the regular 4.6L motor?

Thank you for reading.

There's a fellow in Parksville who has one. He does some of the Island shows with it. It's a pretty tight squeeze, less than an inch on each side.
It's a lot of work and don't forget your chequebook.
A lot cleaner install than the standard 4.6 though, being coil over.

This one of those `It can not be done' type thing the Boys on TCCoA have said in the past.. But someone got a performance shop to do it.. the only thing
is.. No one knows who car it was, or even really the shop.. since it was only pictures that have been seen of the car...

So can it be done, yes, but surposely the car was pretty much rewired for the '05+ style engine/tranny.. even down to the Dash and drive by wire
throttle...

you can do a Mark VIII 4.6L DOHC swap...
