Preston,
when i get a chance i will, the cougar is the same and keep looking for a donor car, just remember that all 93 and up 5.0 use hyper pistons while the 86,92 use forged, if you find a 86 5.0 ho don't bother as the pistons are specific for that year with a slight raise in c/r (pistons are not notched) and the heads are not the same as the 87/95 e7te truck heads, that the ho's come with, most after market heads will require you have the pistons notched for valve clearance.... thanks for the reply man. I'm hoping to find a complete car because ive been told it is far easier to just find a doner car... Are the aods out of the mustangs the same as the mn-12s? Im out in vancouver, so that sashachewan car is a bit far. now will the cougar drivetrain swap over as easy as the tbird one? thanks for the imput, and any items you find and dont need definately let me know. If you could do me a favor and maybe shoot me a list of whats needed for the swap, in case i have to...

Preston, sorry for not responding sooner, but i have been working alot of crazy hours and haven't been to this site in a while.... I had been looking for along time for the 5.0 swap items.... i do have some leads for you to follow up on if you like, but it is very difficult to find a drivetrain used but still in good condition as i am sure you are aware.... John told me that you are a good dude, so i am willing to help you find what you need, but don't be in a rush as the options are limited....

preston, if you act fast there is a 94/95 mustang 5.0 complete with 100k miles and aode complete with all computer harness ect, everything for the swap...
its on e-bay.com.... the shipping is a #@$%^&!!
expensive but it is going cheap!!!!
there is a 88 lincoln lsc motor avail in edmonton with warranty with a harness,ect... i will have a stock mn-12 intake and throttle body for it cheap if you go that route..

looking for a stock thunderbird with a 5.0. i think they were made from 90-93. must run well. Not concerned about how the body or interior are. If the body and interior are good, thats great, if not, no big deal.

let me know what you guys have or know where i can find one..
